El programa del Congreso Mundial de Arqueología

(WAC) "Arqueólogos sin fronteras", junto con la Comisión Fulbright, La Sociedad Colombiana de Arqueología y la Universidad del Magdalena, ofrecerá el taller "Teoría arqueológica contemporánea" a cargo de la Dr. Joan Gero. Dicho evento se llevará a cabo del 25 al 29 de mayo del 2009 en Santa Marta, Colombia. Igualmente, para fortalecer el estudio de la arqueología, la Dra. Gero ofrecerá un curso a los estudiantes de la Universidad del Magdalena titulado "Introducción de a la arqueología". En el primer evento, el taller contará con la participación de estudiantes de diversas partes de Colombia, como también con estudiantes venezolanos. Así, el programa Arqueólogos sin fronteras abrirá espacios para fortalecer la comunicación regional.

The WAC program "Archaeologists without borders", along with the Fulbright Commission, the Colombian Society of Archaeology and the University of the Magdalena, will offer the workshop "Current archaeological Theory" in charge of the Dr. Joan Gero. This event will be carried out from the 25th to the 29th of May of the 2009 at Santa Marta, Colombia. Also, in order to fortify the study of archaeology in Colombia and the region, the Dr. Gero will offer a course to the students of the University of Magdalena called "Introduction to the archaeology". In the first event, the workshop will have the participation of students of diverse parts of Colombia, as well Venezuelan students. Thus, the program "Archaeologists without borders" will open new spaces to fortify the regional communication of WAC members.
