Greetings once again from Hiroshima.

As you will be aware, the Seventh Session of the UNITAR Series on the Management and Conservation of World Heritage Sites will take place in Hiroshima from April 18 - 23. Entitled Conservation for Peace: Conservation Monitoring, the 2010 Session will be examining Monitoring Indicators and the Monitoring of World Heritage Sites as required under the World Heritage Convention.

The initial Call for Applications has been well received, however currently the number of applications from Afghanistan is relatively small. As such, we would like to ask for your assistance once again in the dissemination of information regarding the course, as well as the nomination of qualified participants whom you think would benefit from the training and interaction taking place here in Hiroshima. I have attached below the original Call for Applications e-mail, which includes both the 2010 Session Infonote, as well as a brief description of the application process.

If you have any questions at any stage regarding the Session or Series, please do not hesitate in making contact.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Berin McKenzie
